Feature Friday: My Brother’s Workshop Bakery

If you’re in the mood for some out of this world delicious bakery goods, stop by My Brother’s Workshop Bakery and Café.
Their delectable baked goods are made fresh daily. What makes MBW so special – aside from its food of course, is the fact that it’s a non-profit which is dedicated to helping at-risk youth. MBW teaches these young people business skills, offers training, hands on experience working in the cafe, which opens the door to opportunities that might not otherwise be available to them. Through mentorship and training programs, MBW gives local youth the tools they need for successful careers.
Take our advice and try a guava tart or a slice of rum cake (a local favorite!) with a cup of their fantastic coffee. If you’re in the mood for something a little more savory, you can order one of their excellent signature sandwiches or build your own. A personal favorite – the MBW Signature Cuban.
Be sure to stop by My Brother’s Workshop while you’re visiting the islands, if not for their wonderful food, then to support their great cause.
